MS AMERA

State-of-the-art cruise experience: The MS Amera, a cruise ship with a rich history and affectionately known as the ‘Princess’, was extensively modernised in a dockyard visit in 2023/2024. In addition to many technical and environmentally friendly innovations, the modernisation also included a redesign of the popular Ocean Restaurant located at the ship’s stern.

Fine dining on high seas: The interior designers from Cubik³ were commissioned with redesigning the interior of the fine dining restaurant. The ship-interior specialists placed particular emphasis on a classically modern and contemporary design to create a welcoming atmosphere while meeting the high expectations of guests.

Textile sophistication for dinner with the captain: The design focused on using high-quality materials and linking the different levels of the Ocean Restaurant in a harmonious way. The chairs and seating in the entire upper gallery have been upholstered with rohi’s fascinating MILKYWAY wool fabric in the vibrant polaris colour. The 3 metre-long pattern repeat provides a never-ending effect and gives each piece of furniture a unique look, emphasising the restaurant’s elegance and individuality.
